1991

September - The Canadian Bandurist Capella was founded as a Male Chorus accompanied by bandurists.

1992

January - The Capella gives its first Christmas concert in cooperation with the Burlaky Male Chorus.

In that year the male singers of the Capella amalgamated with the Burlaky Chorus.

The bandurists continue to function as a separate entity changing to a mixed voice format primarily made up of teenagers.

2001
